- October - Convoy for Kids - A Truck, Vintage car and Hot Rod convoy along the highway through Narrabri to our 2Max FM studios. All proceeds from the day go to the kids wards at our local hospitals. Plenty of entertainment, Talent Quest, Auction, Food & Fun!

2Max FM Open Day & Biggest Morning Tea
Held on Saturday 28th June, the day was a great success with over 120 people attending and enjoying a relaxed cuppa and some yummy homemade cakes and slices.
Thank You to our many friends and listeners who travelled from around the Narrabri Shire and beyond to be a part of the day.
Our efforts proved to be very worthwhile with $1348 raised for the cancer council.
2Max FM would like to thank everyone who attended and made the day a success. Special thanks also to those who kindly donated scones, cakes and slices for the morning tea.

Australian Country Music Peoples Choice Awards
These awards are presented at the Tamworth Country Music Festival each year.
Categories include: Best Female Vocal, Best Male Vocal, Best Group or Duo, Best Song, Best Bush Ballad, Best Album, Most Promising Future Star, Most Popular DJ & Most Popular Radio Station or Program. In 2007, 2Max FM were named in the Top 5 for Most Popular Radio Station and Beccy Gray in the Top 10 for Most Popular DJ. Again in 2008, 2Max FM & Beccy were named in the Top 10 for these categories. Unfortunately , we were pipped at the post.

Barry Hogan Memorial Award:
This award is in Memory of Barry Hogan, a long
serving announcer and mate of 2Max FM.
The barry hogan award is awarded at every AGM to "The Most Improved New Announcer"
Ross Gribble was awarded this trophy in 2007/08. Congratulation Ross!
The trophy is a microphone that Barry used and is mounted with the names of previous recipients.
