Announcer News:

Farewell David Mohr

Dave was one half of Tuesday News & Views as well as the host of 80's 90's and Now of a Tuesday night.

In his short time with 2Max FM, Dave made a big impression and had a strong following for his programs. Dave was also a big help behind the scenes, especially during our recent outside broadcasts.

Dave has moved away from the area for career progression, however we may still hear from him as the 'Launceston Correspondent' on Tuesday News and Views (6-8pm with Ben).

We wish you well Dave!

Welcome Carla & Cherina

A belated Welcome to Carla, host of 'Heart of Narrabri' Sunday Nights 8-10pm. Heart of Narrabri is an uplifting and inspirational program, perfect for a relaxing Sunday evening.

Cherina has joined the ranks as the presenter of her Wednesday Afternoon program 12-2pm. Cherina showcases local talent and mix of music to ease you through Wednesdays.

2Max FM warmly welcomes Carla and Cherina to the team!

~ We Want YOU! ~

New or experienced volunteer announcers are invited to join the enthusiastic team at Narrabri's Community Radio station 2MaxFM.

All types of programs will be considered.

It is not necessary to commit to a weekly show. For instance, slots could be shared among announcers on a two week rotation.

Becoming a volunteer announcer is a fun and rewarding experience. You learn new skills and become part of a great team that provides an entertaining and informative service to the community.

You must be at least 12 years of age, and no previous experience is necessary as full in-house training is provided.
